Scottsdale Appoints New SVP For Brokerage Division

Scottsdale Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide, has appointed John Goodloe as the new senior vice president of brokerage division.

Mr Goodloe will lead all underwriting operations within the brokerage division and report to Michael Miller, president and COO of the company.

Mr Goodloe has around 27 years of experience in the specialty lines, reinsurance and wholesale brokerage business. He most recently served as the president of Facultative Resources, and prior to that as president of the Admiral Insurance Excess Division.

Mr Goodloe, said: “The brokerage team at Scottsdale Insurance Company has a tremendous reputation of fostering trust by acting consistently, having integrity, and sharing information. I am very excited about being a part of this team and look forward to enhancing our presence in the E&S sector.”

Mr Miller, said: “With John's deep industry expertise and established relationships, we intend to take full advantage of these opportunities. We welcome John to the Company and look forward to having him on our senior executive team.”
